The Punk Rock Bathroom

I’m thinking about leaving the toothpicks in the wall and changing the theme from a Victorian Bathroom, to a Punk Rock Bathroom.

I could rig up a switch on the door so that when you open it you get blasted with The Sex Pistols or The Clash. I could do ripped curtains and paint everything black and white.

Dude, it would be so totally awesome!

Nothing says i wanna be sedated like your rad toothpick wall.

You'd have to get some thick blood-red candles to burn on high shelves and drip wax everywhere.

Let's see, I'm friends with someone who is married to one of the Descendants. Maybe he could come to your official Punk Rock Bathroom dedication party.

Then again, I think your toothpick wall is a lot more punk than he is these days.

I can just picture Pinhead sitting on the can or taking a long soak in your bathroom after a hard day at work.

That idea reminds me of the dark side living room we once imagined... upon scraping paint we stumbled over what looked like black walls AND door trim... so we got going what the room must have looked like... black walls, doors and windows, black carpet, black lace curtians... and for a bed a wooden box with candles on the headboard *ggg*
I'm pretty sure the room wasn't painted black though, "only" dark purple with a black border...

Sounds like the Masque of the Red Death. Funny, in six comments we've moved from the Rammones to Edgar Allen Poe.

That room reminds me of our bedroom in my first house: green & black shag carpet, hunter green walls with black trim, and skull & crossbones stickers all over the wall. Needless to say, we didn't change a thing.

Just kidding.

Love the subway tiles Greg. They are versitile too. They look great in a period bath or a Sid Vicious themed flop house.

You know, I bet if Edgar Allen Poe had been a teeager in the 1970s or 80s he would have been a fan of the Rammones. Think about it.
